Raising money to invest in farming activities can occasionally be difficult considering the economic situation of the country. This is slightly different for members of Hakabra VSLA from Gunda/Sukeliye community; Guyuk LGA where members were able to raise N913,515 from their savings in year four alone. In addition, they made 50% profit on their saving through giving out of loans to members who used such money to invest in small businesses and take care of other household and personal expenditures. For them as women, having access to such money reduced over dependence and vulnerability while relieving their husbands some financial burden.
As a group, they appreciated EU, OXFAM & CRUDAN for changing their livelihoods for good.
